The Grant Process Family Care Foundation (FCF) provides funding for its pre-selected FCF Projects. Due to limited resources, coupled with unlimited potential requests, FCF does not accept unsolicited proposals or grant applications. Becoming qualified and receiving funding via FCF is a two-step process: 1. To qualify as a FCF Project Partner, as part of our MSHSP relief and development network, applicants must first present their projects via a standardized application that is evaluated by foundation staff. If determined that the applicant project fits within the exempt purposes of FCF, field representatives become part of the further evaluation process. We rely upon an international network of advisors to personally seek out and evaluate remarkable grassroots organizations that come to our attention. Our model is based upon personal relationship and trust to assure that all selected projects meet high standards of accountability. If approved, applicants become a Project Partner of FCF and are eligible to receive funding from FCF for their projects. FCF does not otherwise accept unsolicited proposals or grant applications. 2. As a 501c3 public charity, FCF receives cash and in-kind contributions and grants from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Donors may make undesignated gifts to FCF's general fund, or they may recommend one or more FCF Projects for funding. Alternately, donors may request that their gift be directed toward a specific area of interest, such as services to youth at risk, disaster relief, etc. For more information on the qualifications to participate in the Mission Support and Humanitarian Services Program (MSHSP), e-mail us at: Or write to: Family Care Foundation |
