UNITED ARTISTS GET 'RADIO-ACTIVATED'

UNITED Artists Ministries are a collective of Ugandan Gospel Music artists who get together on occasion to spurt forth an ensemble concert.

The latest, set for 3pm May 20, at Kampala Pentecostal Church, is code named Nakupenda, which is Latin for "We don't care if there's no beer in heaven, we will still go there." No, actually it is Swahili for I love you.

It promises to be explosive. And not just because the line-up includes such highly combustible acts as Kaweesa, First Love, Heaven Bound and Bird, but also because it has RadioActive productions behind it. Radio Active, as they say has become RadioActive. They are as everywhere as MTN ads.

This time they are going to be at KPC to record the proceedings, largely re-mixes of the artist's biggest hits, for a UAM live concert album. Be there, people, be there.
