Scholastic Undertaking for Underprivileged Children

Emanuel with three elementary students.

Ruth, a volunteer teacher from Japan.

The school we currently operate educates 65 children--30 of them enrolled in other schools through a sponsorship program we organize. These children have never been to any school before, and without our help probably never would have the opportunity to attend.

with young student.

Having access to school playground
a first for these kids.

We provide these underprivileged children with a basic education for two to three years and depending on the degree of excellence they achieve, they are then transferred to other schools for continuing academic education through to high school. At this juncture, they write entry exams at a government facility. During this process, their education, school fees and meal program is all sponsored through supporters.

These poor street kids depend on this
nutrition we provide.

Unfortunately, our own school is limited in size but we strive to add 1-2 classrooms every year, as resources become available.
