Few people are more vulnerable and in need of assistance than young girls subjected to domestic violence, sex abuse or sex trafficking. Since 2004, we have assisted the CCPCR rescue shelter in providing a safe home for such girls, who have ranged in age from as young as 5 through to age 19.
We work closely with the staff and children, forming strong bonds of support and friendship, sponsoring school uniforms, and special outings. Read more

We also provide rice and cooking gas monthly and sponsor teacher salaries for daily English and computer lessons. Additionally, Ann teaches weekly art therapy classes.

Thanks to a grant from Drop in the Ocean, Nottingham UK and Family Care Foundation USA, we were able to construct a second story for the shelter that provided 7 bedrooms for the children and staff, a study room, a recreation room and 4 toilets. Read the full story

In an effort to help the shelter become more self-sustaining, we have provided weaving looms, and helped to market the fine cloth products the girls produce.
