Emergency Relief Efforts

Family Care Indonesia (FCI) activates its network of volunteers when a natural disaster hits Indonesia, to assist with relief efforts. This included the monumental Asian Tsunami of 2005.

Family Care Indonesia assisted in relief efforts after the Situ Gintung disaster in Tanggerang, West Java. And following the devastating earthquakes in Pandelang, West Java and Padang, West Sumatra, FCI made a number of visits to both sites transporting and distributing tons of food, clothing and other basic necessities.

Most importantly, FCI volunteers spend time interacting with the victims of these major disasters, offering hope and encouragement.
