FEDES conducted a training and integration project for mentally challenged young people hailing from poor backgrounds.

Through an agreement executed with COANIL, a pilot project was conducted to train these young people in construction and housing maintenance skills.  The project was financed by the El Bosque Rotary Club.

The young people learned carpentry basics and were then included in the production of a new housing complex for the COANIL Los Girasoles Home.

The FEDES Vocational Training School and Pre-Fab Housing department was happy to participate in this noble undertaking.
