Vocational training can lift a woman out her cycle of poverty, as well as establish her worth and dignity, and thus we gear many of the courses in our Vocational Training School to the empowerment of women.

One such branch of vocational studies is training nurse’s aides, who can then earn a living caring for the elderly, as well as the ill and infirm. This training lays the groundwork for employment in senior citizen’s retirement centers, hospices, or personal residences. Another vocational opportunity for women begins with our tailoring course. This course consists of 180 hours of training in actual tailoring, with an additional 10 hours of business management. After completing their studies, the beneficiaries received a subsidy for the tools of their trade. Read some personal stories: Susan Marcella Sandra

Yet other courses that allow women to better their quality of life, as well as that of their family, are Culinary Arts and Food Processing, as well as Confectionary Services.
While studying, adult students receive a subsidy on food, transport, and/or tools for their trade (ie as a nurses's aid, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, and other basic medical care supplies), as well as personal development classes to help them present themselves properly to prospective employers, learn basic money management, and so forth.
Graduates benefit from the FEDES employment placement program, which assists graduates to find long term jobs and/or start their own businesses.
