Pakistan Tobacco Company Sponsors
Teacher Training Course

The Pakistan Tobacco Company (British American Tobacco) requested FESF’s services to conduct a six-day teacher-training course in the tobacco growing areas. 22 teachers from 18 schools and 14 villages received six days of training.

Ten participants were principals and two were vice principals. They have more authority and influence over the rest of the teaching staff, which means that the training will go further than if only teachers would have attended.

Daniel, project manager, along with two trainers Suzie and Sarah went to Takht Bhai, a small town surrounded by dozens of villages whose main cash crop is tobacco.

Resource Material given to each school:

  • 522 A4 pages of course material
  • 10 Educational videos
  • 2 Children Audio Cassettes
  • 1 Mottos for Success Perennial Calendar
  • 1 Course Certificate per participants
