Project Managers: Steve and Louise Halifax

Contact Info:

Family Mission Services was formed in response to the growing educational needs of the children of the local missionary community in Monterrey, Mexico. Its primary goal is to assist missionary families in providing their children with a Christian education at the primary and junior high school level. Louise Halifax, FMS’s Project Manager, is qualified and experienced in the field of education. A day school has been opened which provides academic learning for approximately 30 students. In addition to providing scholastics for children of missionary families, FMS serves the local community by providing free English classes to interested individuals who could not otherwise afford them. They also solicit goods and services on a weekly basis from local establishments on behalf of impoverished and destitute families in the local community and oversee the distribution of them. Bible instruction is provided for interested members of the local community and FMS members engage in the distribution of gospel literature as well as fund raising events which raise public awareness of the needs in the local community.
