Working together with donors and sponsors, Open Opportunities provides on-the-ground logistics in organizing the collection and distribution of donated aid. This involves the actual physical collection, warehousing, sorting, packing and customs clearance paperwork, which all contribute to the shipment preparation process. Open Opportunities also conducts ongoing fundraising campaigns to meet basic operating costs.

Once shipment has been sent, Open Opportunities continues to monitor the distribution process through direct contact with volunteers on site who are responsible to oversee that the aid given is appropriate to the need and is accurately accounted for. Thank you letters, testimonials, photographic evidence, and on site supervision are provided to donors from the recipients.
