Clinic and Dispensary

From its humble beginnings with a one-story building facilitating the hot meals and food distribution programs, through Family Care Foundation grants, and in partnership with local sponsors, PRAC has been able to further expand its services to this underprivileged community. 2010 saw the inauguration of an additional two-story building on its premises. The top floor houses a a tri-office medical unit, “Clinica El Refugio,”  which includes a well-stocked dispensary.

Through a collaborative effort, bringing together medical staff, administrative volunteers, local donors, and PRAC staff, the clinic offers medical care five days a week.

Consultations and medicines are provided at no cost for these often neglected and abused children and their families. Soon the services offered will also include dental and mental health care.
