Reachout Outreach Mission Incorporated

Project Managers: Odin and Stella Deseo

Reachout Volunteers concentrates on missionary outreach within the maximum security compound of the main prison camp in the Philippines called Bilibid Prison. A church has been established for the inmates, many of whom have either life sentences or are on death row. Weekly Bible studies are given and weekly visitation is made on a separate day in order to offer personal counseling, legal help, etc. Reachout also offer assistance to the inmates' families in the way of clothing and other material goods, financial aid (sometimes helping to pay their rent), as well as visits to those families who live too far away to visit their loved ones in prison.

In addition, Reachout Outreach Mission Incorporated volunteers are also involved in a Youth Crusade against Drugs.

Crusade Against Drugs

We have done a number of shows with our "Hearts Aflame" singing team, including a show at the PNP 'Officers Ladies Club' in Camp Crame HQ and Malasigue Municipal High School in Pangasinan.

Mindano Armed Forces Appreciation Event

During the height of the conflict in Mindanao many people died; 209 civilians, 542 MILF fighters, 189 soldiers and scores of wounded soldiers. The Marines, being the first to fight and the cutting edge of the armed forces, suffered a lot of casualties.

Aiding the War Ravaged Mindanao Civilian Population

Due to the military operations in Mindanao thousands of civilians were caught in the crossfire causing many to evacuate to safer areas. With the help of sponsors we were able to pool resources and make a trip to Mindanao, bringing donated goods such as used clothing, medicines, food items and toys for the children.
