Due to the military operations in Mindanao thousands of civilians were caught in the crossfire causing many to evacuate to safer areas. With the help of sponsors we were able to pool resources and make a trip to Mindanao, bringing donated goods such as used clothing, medicines, food items and toys for the children. We went to Camp Parang Maguindanao, where the evacuees came from Barira and Matanog Maguindanao, areas of heavy fighting, being the second biggest rebel camp in the country.
