Educational Workshops Mission

The primary purpose of Educational
Workshops Mission is to conduct benefit performances for schools,
orphanages & childcare centers in southern Ecuador & northern Peru,
incorporating puppets, drama & games to promote the Christian values
of honesty, obedience, cleanliness, sharing & reaching out to others.
Building on the success they have had
with their children's programs, project managers Luis and Monica
launched weekly and biweekly seminars & workshops for the purpose
of training teachers & parents how to effectively incorporate these
methods into their teaching. Another of their seminars addresses
the topic of how to use sight-reading in school and at home. |

"Growing Healthy Workshop"
We started a new program called: Growing
Healthy Workshop designed to instruct students and children from
elementary schools with the basic rules of health, following the known
phrase: Sound Mind in a Sound Body. This involves a class
hosted by puppets, music rhymes, and games. The reaction of the children
and teachers to this workshop has been very positive, and many more schools
are requesting more of this kind of educational input to enhance the local
educational programs.
The program covers five
basic rules:
RULE # 1: NUTRITION AND
DIET: Vitamins and where to find them. Healthy food Vs. junk food.
RULE # 2: GOOD EXERCISE
AND SPORTS: In order to improve blood circulation, breathing, digestion,
and metabolism.
RULE # 3: GOOD REST:
To estimulate the proper growth and the reparation of tissues.
RULE # 4: FEED THE MIND
AND SPIRIT: With good and edifying books, music, and videos containing
good values and morals.
RULE # 5: KEEP A CLEAN
HEART: Stressing the importance of living and practicing daily values
such as honesty, kindness, unity, diligence, and love.
