Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (which translated means "Love the Nation's Children") was set up in Indonesia in 1999 to combat drug problems among the youth. Indonesia has experienced a rapid increase of drug abuse over the past decade, so YCAB's goals focus on education, awareness and prevention. Through the following activities, YCAB introduces drug education to school curriculums, interschool programs for 'at risk' youth, as well as drug research and education centers. Programs include:

• Youth Against Drug Abuse (YADA), a band & dance team of young people bringing music, drama, and video to schools, accompanied by Dr. Iskandar Irwan Hukom, a lecturer and substance abuse expert.
• Mass media campaign which includes public service ads on radio, newspaper and television, billboards, posters, and a variety of prevention-related literature.
• Counseling service, utilizing a toll-free hotline number manned daily, 24 hours a day.

By using music, drama, audio-visual aids and other youth-oriented mediums, YCAB has made drug prevention an enjoyable, school-based educational experience.
