Even though American giving to charities registered an overall decline, Family Care Foundation is pleased to announce that our revenue was up an amazing 64% last year. And as a result, 2008 was FCF’s largest ever social investment, meaning we gave more grants than ever before, helping more clients than ever before.

Family Care Foundation partner projects continue rebuilding in Indonesia, India and Thailand in the aftermath of the Asian tsunami, coupled with relief work in Pakistan after the devastating earthquake there. All this in addition to our ongoing work in close to 50 countries.

Within hours of the tsunami tragedy, Family Care Foundation responded with immediate assistance for victims in India, Thailand and Indonesia. Family Care Foundation's Total Revenue grew to over $3 Million in 2002, with total charitable distribution at more than $2.5 Million, an increase of over $1 Million in pay-out from the previous year.

Total revenue grew by 111% in 2001, with total charitable distribution at $1,448,000, up 140% from the previous year. And FCF's total overhead for the year amounted to only 7% of revenue, meaning 93 cents out of every dollar donated to Family Care Foundation went directly to program services.

In keeping with Family Care Foundation's commitment to maintain low administrative costs, our total overhead amounted to a mere 3.7% of revenue, while Family Care Foundation meanwhile made over $590,000 in grants and charitable distributions in 2000, a 38% increase over 1999.

In keeping with Family Care Foundation's commitment to keep our overhead to a minimum, in 1999 we reduced our administrative expenses to a mere 4.1% of revenue, while dramatically increasing our program services.
