FCF mission partners have managed emergency and relief services
at such
disasters as the Asian tsunami, the earthquakes in Pakistan
and India, El
Salvador, Turkey, Colombia, and Taiwan; Hurricane Mitch in Central
America;
flooding in India (Orissa) and Mexico; the US Embassy bombing
in Kenya, etc. Extensive follow-up, often in close cooperation
with various government
agencies, is emphasized. |

Immediate Disaster Relief:
Relief supplies delivered within 72 hours of an international
emergency. |
India: Distributing tents, blankets, and
supplies to earthquake victims in Gujarat. |
El Salvador: Digging for victims buried by
a landslide. |
Turkey: Sitting dazed in
the rubble of her home after quake. |
Kosovo: Working with children traumatized
by ethnic conflict and war. |
Mexico: Ferrying food and supplies to flood
victims. |
