Family Care Goa hosts regular meetings with PLWAs (People Living With HIV-AIDS) to help them develop a positive outlook on life and a healthy self-esteem. Family Care Goa also seeks to find employment and housing for PLWA, as well as sponsorship for their children. Where necessary, they provide spiritual strength for patients in their terminal stages, allowing them to die with dignity.
At one point, Family Care Goa ran a clinic for PLWAs where medical checkups and basic medicines were supplied free-of-charge.
Additionally Family Care Goa aims to improve conditions in local orphanages and homes for the elderly, providing needy institutions with TVs, VCD players and VCRs, along with sets of educational and character building video and VDC programs. Moreover they present character-building seminars at schools and institutions.
